Hah! Splendid play, all. At least I chipped in enough moves for a share of the ranking points (trust an old fox like me for that, eh?) and the finish was a masterpiece. Would have fallen foul of Simpson’s Rule (1863, para 3 clause 2 subsection 1): All endgame justifications shall be capable of being uttered with a single breath of air, but naturally I know that’s not in effect here!

Excellent play all round , it was very entertaining to watch. The end game strategy is considered by some to be a bit of a parlour trick, but I think the format leds itself well to these more esoteric plays.
