I’ve noticed many times when watching a movie a scene can be ruined with a small flaw, be it a wrong fact or a continuity error. It can be as big as a plot hole or it can even something as simple as an object showing up in the screen that shouldn’t be there (a Boom mike or reflection of the Camera crew)

For me, there were so many in “The Patriot” that I have trouble pinpointing one. But my favorite was when the “evil redcoats” gathered an entire town in a church and burned it, killing everyone inside. Come on. Nobody got out? How well built was this church? Grab a pew, make a battering ram. There are about a hundred able-bodied people in that church, and they just stand there and burn?
