Well…remember this was a Universal show. A surprisingly large amount of the show was filmed in SoCal, or even the backlot. I’m not convinced Peppard was ever in Boston!

The OB character became worse and worse after Stabler (and the sexual tension between them) left the show. I caught a post-Stabler episode the other day, and OB just came across as an angry spinster with some heavy-duty hangups of her own.
And I’m a spinster myself, so, you know.
I still like Finn and Munch, but they aren’t enough to offset all of that righteous anger and guy-hatred.
Deb, the sister cop, from Dexter. I spent most episodes wishing someone would kill her already.
Oh, they definitely came to Boston; I think it was probably just once each season to shoot the exterior shots they needed, then back to L.A. to do the interiors on a sound stage. Just in the opening credits you can see Peppard going in to Durgin Park, walking across City Hall Plaza, driving across the Longfellow, etc. And one episode, I think, has him going in to the Hines Convention Center.
Maybe even stranger, I remembered the ending to one episode that I must have seen when I was about 8 years old.

Barney Fife, Frank Luger, Carl Levitt, Howard Hunter, Frank Gannon, etc…I wouldn’t want to work with any of them, but I enjoy the characters.

Olivia on SVU. I swear, Mariska Hargatay has one expression, and it’s achieved by sucking a lemon. I got tired of the story lines of that series pretty quick, but she was the primary reason I quit watching that show.
And I’ll go with Brenda on The Closer - I never understood why Fritz didn’t just bitch slap her and head out the door. I liked the show, but I couldn’t stand her character at all.
