Most attractive actresses on TV Shows?

Mariska Hargitay of L & O, SVU

Sofia Vergara

Kat Dennings

Gabrielle Anwar

Lynda Carter, back in the day

Jan Smithers, back in the day

Oh, heavens to murgatroid, yes!

I used to have this poster of Loni Andersonon my wall as a kid, but today I’m not getting it. She certainly had a nice figure, but I don’t consider her earth-shatteringly beautiful anymore.

Rena Sofer. She’s absolutely gorgeous.

I used to be friends with a guy who was Mariska Hargitay’s roommate back when they were both struggling actors (he still is). I never did ask him if their relationship went anywhere.

I adored the late Angharad Rees, “Demelza” on the original ***Poldark ***series. Still do. :o

As I mentioned in another thread, I was an extra on Blue Bloods and was right next to her for most of the day. I can confirm it’s not just the television; she really is that beautiful in person. And I made her laugh when I motioned to the fake copy machine and said nothing ever works around here. So, you know, we’re married.

Saw her the other day as Marsha, Queen of Diamonds, on Adam West’s Batman:

Hot, hot, hot! :o

Supergirl. Case closed.

This sounds great; tell me everything! Did she ask about me, did she mention me often?!? I am happy for you, but you do understand it is begrudgingly, right? Spent the whole day with her, made her laugh—sigh, I bet it sounds like angels singing when she laughs.

Actually, my envy is only half hearted. She is just one of those women who are far, far too good for me on every scale imaginable. It’s not like I never scored a pretty girl before, but she really does seem to be better than ordinary run of the mill humans. I suspect I would totally enjoy it if I had the opportunity to spend a whole day with her as you had, but I am even more sure that once or twice during the course of the day I would look at her and have the gut retching realization that I could never be with her—and now that I met her that would be the only thing that could possibly ever make life worth living. If anyone belongs on a pedestal, it is Bridget Moynahan, and even if I had the power to make her love me (as I adore her)—I wouldn’t because I could not have her sullied by the likes of me (and most of you Dopers too, I am sure).

I also have the vague sense that it would be hard to look directly at her, and even harder to look away. Like one would have to steel oneself before embracing her with the full force of one’s gaze, and that once one beheld her visage- there was never any good reason to look away. In fact, I am quite sure everything surrounding her is muted and out of focus. That the vivaciousness of her beauty makes ordinary objects around her seem bland, tasteless, odorless, devoid of color, or shape, or significance. As Robert Parker often wrote about the fictional Susan Silverman, “Whenever she entered a room, time paused while all the objects in the room reordered themselves so she was the center and focus of them all” (More or less, been years since I read them- shouldn’t have used quotation marks.) I would sometimes think he was overdoing it a bit when I read the Spenser books, but sometimes I get a vague whiff of that watching Erin Reagan on TV and can’t help but suppose meeting Bridget M. in person would be a hundred times more powerful.

Oh, i agree! Great body, but her face just didn’t do it for me.

I always thought that Lynda Carter was the perfect woman!

Linda Carter is from South Scottsdale (or at least lived here for sometime). She supposedly babysat friends of my younger brother at her home in Concord Village, less than a mile from where I now sit. This was of course before she became rich and famous. Concord Village is a large attached housing community that had a great community pool. There was (and presumably still is) an Olympic sized lap pool with a large, deep diving pool teeing off one side that had a high dive and a low dive, and lounge chairs around most of the pool. I had stopped hanging out there by then, but rumor was it was standing room only when Linda was at the pool. Not hard for me to believe at all.

Morena Baccarin has not aged one single day since her Firefly days, damn.

Michelle Dockery of Good Behavior and Downton Abbey. She even manages to make smoking look sexy.
