Most biased news source in the US?

FOX “News” The More You Watch, The Less You know

Unsurprising the number of votes FOX is getting. However, had the OP included the Huffington Post, I would’ve voted for that instead.

Hey, that’s not the only change in the air. From the June 28 Christian Science Monitor…

Bolding and smirking both mine. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now that the MS is gone from MSNBC, I can click the link without having to shower afterward.

Fox news is by far the most biased, and also they outright lie, but I don’t watch MSNBC either. My hatred for Fox by no means excuses MSNBC, even if they do share my political orientation.

Easy. FOX ‘News’ - indeed it’s not even considers news (at least as the West understands and uses the term) outside of the tethered minds of those who produce and watch it. If memory serves, Canada actually ban its transmission as it’s not considered factual or in any way impartial - and therefore, not news, just mere right-wing opinion and bias, a position with which I have to say I thoroughly agree.

“I get my news from Comedy Central and my comedy from FOX ‘News’”

Not me, I watch MSNBC for it’s straight reporting of stupid republicans that the Lame Stream Media won’t cover.

No it doesn’t.

Definitely Fox. Their slant runs rings around the others. That said, the others do it too, it’s just not as blatant. Pursuing a degree in Journalism cause me to give up watching news because it trained me to spot this garbage. I can’t watch it without getting a case of the heebie-jeebies but I have family members who just suck it up and am appalled that I don’t watch tv news.

Spin by someone on the side of the black teen. I’m sure that is clear to you as well or you wouldn’t ask.

MSNBC has a liberal bias, Fox is the full-blown propaganda arm of the Republican Party.

Please tell me you’re using the term “ironically”.

Yeah, whenever I have to read a story on HuffPo I try to click through to whatever source they’re using. Can’t stand the HuffPo spin, although they are occasionally useful for aggregating similar stories.

We’re a “news source” now?

They’re all biased in one direction or another.

Pretty much so, but if you choose to only watch one version, say FOX or MSNBC, you will only get one side of the story and not see the issues the other side (or sides) is presenting. No issue is one-sided but the news stations sure are. IMO, this increases the viewer’s likelyhood of siding with the story they are presented instead of learning the various viewpoints and making up their own minds.

I’ll vote for The Epoch Times, the Falun Gong newspaper.

The same amount?

We may have a winner!

Basically, yeah.

If I bother to watch the news at all nowadays (having worked for US TV news companies, I just can’t get the bad taste out of my mouth), I tend to follow George Carlin’s advice: Listen to one side, listen to the other, and then make up your own goddamned mind!

First poll I’ve seen where there is a factually correct answer, which of course is Fox. There simply is no equivalence to MSNBC. MSNBC adheres to journalistic standards and does not air false information or misinformation. They also have their resident conservatives with their own shows or portions thereof, Joe Scarborough and S.E. Cupp (gotta be the cutest conservative ever). Where are the liberal hosts on Fox? That’s right, there aren’t any. Say something over the top on MSNBC, you get suspended, as Ed Schultz found out. Say something over the top on Fox, you get a bonus in your pay packet.
