I have sore feet all the time. I stand up most of the day and am looking for a comfortable pair of shoes. Based on your experience what is the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes you’ve worn?
This will be headed to IMHO soon.
Tennis shoes? Bah! Birkenstocks!
IMHO it is.

Most comfy sneakers I’ve ever had were a pair of Nike Air “walking” shoes, 1999 model. Haven’t had any that comfy since.
But, IMHO, nothing can hold a candle to my docs when it comes to standing all day.
Dr. Martens, 3-hole, greasy black, NO stitching.
The Iversons by Reebok are really really comfy. Nothing beats Doc Martins however…
Original Rockport RocWalkers. Nothing comes close in comfort or durability. I had a pair I wore almost daily for 10 years before they fell apart.
I didn’t find Doc Martens to be that comfortable. There are plenty of shoes with air insoles. Docs are too rigid.
They were great for me - molded to my feet. First pair I had I wore almost every day for 6 years. The pair I have now are about 5 years old and coming up for replacement.
Plus I can drop bound journals on them and not break any toes.
I got some boots, but not Doc’s. I guess i’ll have to buy some insoles for them to make them more comfy.
Go to your local drug store and get a pair of gel inserts for your shoes. They make the shoes feel a little more snug, but absorb the shocks and help the knees and back.
Dr. Scholl’s DynaStep. Many different styles, various widths. Built in heel suport.
They work for me.
