After I heard the Marines were doing a flyover with several V-22s, my explosion worries for today shifted from leftist nutjob to aircraft safety concerns.
Putin invades Ukraine or some other east European country/s moments after the inauguration, with the goal of creating a new Russian Empire/Soviet Union. He figures Trump and his administration are either unwilling, or too disorganized and incompetent to do anything about it.
Snopes says that the assertion that the GSA was tallying complaints about the matter was unproven. As the post you are replying to said nothing about contacting the GSA, I do not think that that was what they were referring to.
Can you point to where they said that the terms of the lease were unproven? That seemed to be more the poster’s argument, and I did not see contradicted in the snopes article, in fact, it seemed to affirm that there was in fact a conflict there.
Wait…what?
If anything happens, it’ll be on Trump’s head.
I’m willing to bet that the Marine pilots selected for this show are pretty good pilots and that they won’t have any incidents.
Never mind!
Insertion withdrawn.
This for sure.
Yeah, when Obama’s and W’s ethics lawyers join up and are outraged at what they are seeing - you could hear the passion and emotion in their voices as they cited specifics and laid out the situation - well, it feels substantive. I don’t know if they didn’t discuss who could function as plaintiff or it just jumped out of my brain, but is suspect we’ll find out soon enough.
I would be more worried if no legit plaintiff comes forward - what could be suppressing action on such an illustrative case?
But to be clear, if this is the “most explosive” thing to happen today, it’ll be a pretty quiet day. It’s just a lease deal. You re-write it or restructure it or something. I suspect if it becomes a real issue and Trump decides to fight it, it’ll be tied up in courts for years.
I am ignorant of the process to be followed, but similar to Bill Clinton and MLewinsky, if the opposing party has a legally-plausible way to tangle up, let alone impeach, the President, don’t you think they would pursue it?
ETA: that’s not to say your basic point, that it could be a whole lot worse, is out there.
As one of the original developers of the Osprey’s GPS, I wish I had put an easter egg in it to navigate to 100 feet above the podium today. No harm intended, I just want to see what that combover would look like in a 2000HP downdraft.
Obama leaves a clogged toilet at the White House for Trump to find, with a message written on the TP “I’ve been a Muslim all along, and I was born in Kenya! Bwahahaha!”.
Occidental College is a small private college. What funding could he possibly cut off?
That wasn’t true last night.
Most colleges receive federal money directly or indirectly through grants or student loans or non-profit status. I say anyone who wants to attend Occidental not get loans subsidized by the Federal government until Obama’s records are made public.
