How is the US going to change when Trump is elected?

The Whitehouse will of course be re-painted gold and have a large “TRUMP” sign installed on top.

The presidential jet will be renamed “Air Force Billion”.

The Trump Capitol Resort, Washington will open after extensive renovations. It will have the “Senate” Wing, and the “House” wing.

The US won’t exist anymore once the cockroaches become the dominant form of life on this planet.

Wall Street will run along the Rio Grande.

Alaska will be sold back to the Russians in the worlds biggest property deal.

Four star generals will be auditioned live on Celebrity Apprentice

The wall will need to be built, to keep Americans from fleeing to Mexico.

Camp David will be renamed Camp Donald.

Six states will be renamed for his wife and kids.

I am in the middle of reading a book called, It Can’t Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis about a Trump-like character who beats Roosevelt in the 1936 convention. He campaigns on a promise that all white Christians be guaranteed an income of $5000, blacks be limited by law to earning no more than $3000, non-Christians be banned from holding office or civil service jobs.

He is elected and after congress refuses to pass his initial legislation, he has the recalcitrant congressmen arrested and imprisoned and the entire supreme court put under house arrest. The new speaker of the house declares that the few remaining congressmen are a quorum and the VP declares the same in the senate and they are going to procede to legislate away, doing away with the supreme court’s right of review. That’s about where I in the book, but it makes you realize that there are worse things than Trump even.

Now as to what I think will happen. He will give an order to, say, his Attorney General. Say shut down the NY Times. The AG tells him he can’t do that. You’re fired! Next guy refuses. You’re fired! Eventually Trump realizes that he can’t just snap his fingers and have things happen. Being president is more like steering a 3000 mile long ocean liner. He will lose interest. And then what?

Look at what Lepage did to Maine. Trump will bring Lepage’s idiocy to the national level. He will insult, threaten, or fire anyone who gets in his way. He will say horribly bigoted things that embarrass us to the rest of the world. He will try to either obstruct progress, or implement ridiculous things.

It will become great again.

The dead rising from the grave!

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!

Cool!

Generals usually make the worst presidents because they’re used to getting there own way. That being said. Eisenhower actually did a couple of historic things during his presidency. Either Trump won’t get anything done or Trump will actually do a couple of things that actually make sense.

Nazis riding dinosaurs!

All the national parks will gone in no time , poor people and handicap people will be screwed really bad b/c their benefits and state insurance will cut to the bones !

Internationally, Tony Abbott, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage will suddenly seem like “The Great Leaders of Our Age”.

I wish I could come up with jokes to maintain the humor, but I cannot. Trump, and his supporters, are no joke at this stage of the campaign.
