About 40 years ago I saw a Cougar with the license plate: GRRRRRR
But my favorite one that I actually saw was on one of those huge land yacht Lincolns. The plate said: IMNOTAL. When I drew up alongside it at the light, the driver was a total doppleganger for Al Davis.
I read about a a rejected plate that said “IVNIK8.”
Pronounced fornicate, of course.
Earlier today, I saw an out of state truck that had a 7-digit plate that said “CWM” followed by a 4-digit number, and at first glance thought maybe he was Welsh (“cwm”, pronounced “koom”, is IIRC Gaelic for “valley”) and then realized it was probably a random assignment.
There are more people in the world who haven’t seen A Day At The Races than people who have seen it. Me, for instance. So could you please explain it for those of us who haven’t seen the movie?
Was at a store with my son once. While walking across the parking lot we saw (from a distance) what appeared to be a Ferrari. He said, “Dad, is that a Ferrari?” I said, “I’m not sure. Let’s check it out.” When we walked up to it we noticed the license plate was “NOPE.”
