Most Notable Person or Thing without an English Wikipedia Article

Admittedly, this may end up being a thread with single digit posts, but I was thinking about it the other night as I was reading a book on the build up to WWII. The Italian ambassador to Germany, Bernardo Attolico, was mentioned several times. As I often do, I tried to look him up in Wikipedia to see What he did during the war, did he survive it, how ardent a Facist was he, etc. To my surprise, there was no English article (there was one in Italian, but that doesn’t count).

Almost without fail, if an individual is important enough for me to want to look him or her up, there will be a Wikipedia article. Just reading this book, I have looked up dozens of Nazi generals, opposition party politicians, and foreign dignitiaries, and my Wikipedia batting average is 100%. For example, Attolico’s peers, British ambassador Neville Henderson and French ambassador Andre Francois-Poncet both have submissions.

Anyway, it got me thinking about the most notable person, thing, or event that does NOT have an English Wikipedia article. I will be the judge of notable

OK I’ll jump in. If you go to the track listings of the various volumes of the Pebbles series of anthology albums, every band listed in red is one without a Wiki article. None too notable, perhaps, but it’s a start.

Seems like there must be a stubb article with the most references to it, and that would be more or less the factual answer to your question. Not sure how you’d find it though.

I was surprised earlier today to find no Wikipedia article on that grumpy looking cat known as Tarder Sauce.
