And what laws, exactly, would the guy running the show be “busted” under?
I’m not sure why this is the ‘most sick game ever’. I’m in the if-these-women-are-stupid-enough-to-whore-themselves-out-for-a-measly-$2500-bucks,-let-them camp.
I don’t even have a problem with them choosing (that’s right, choosing) to not wear the appropriate protective gear.
I can’t believe the Japanese didn’t come up with this first.
Here’s what I don’t get.
The men I know and love like women in general.
They have wives and mothers and sisters.
There’s no way on God’s green earth that they would get their jollies (much less pay 10 grand) to humilate or degrade a woman and that’s all the hunt is, after all.
It’s like the porn spam I delete every morning as I drink my coffee:
See Natalie Raped By Soldiers at Red Square or Terrified Teenager Fucked By Naughty Daddy while Mom Watches.
I just don’t get it.
Loving/liking women and getting turned on by depictions of rape role-play aren’t mutually exclusive.
The videos are marketed as hidden camera’s capture…
I could care less what role playing games consenting adults get into, or for that matter, what they enjoy watching.
I’m simply saying that in my very mundane and limited existence, none of the men that I am close to seem to think that that watching women who are pretending to be terrified and screaming in pain while men knock them about and rape them is a turn-on.
YMMV.
Snopes thinks it might be a hoax:
Too small a sample to be represevtative.
The funny thing about this and other “ultra extreme” activities is that they’re marketed in a manner exactly opposite to that portrayed in all those cheesy movies. There have been films about people hunted for sport (ultimately inspired by Richard Connell’s short story The Most Dangerous Game, I guess) and typically the hunters are bored ultra-rich hedonists looking for stimulation and the hunt is conducted in secrecy. Similarly, there were a bunch of crappy movies in the seventies and eighties (most of them starring Jean-Claude Van Damme) that portrayed no-holds-barred pit fighting as something the rich watched while sipping champagne.
Of course, in reality, pit-fighting ended up marketed to no-class slobs on pay-per-view, while this version of hunting (if it’s for real) seems geared to the Billy-Bob types looking to spend some of their workman’s compensation money.
Probably. However, I’d really like to continue in my belief that most men like women in general and have no desire to humilate them.
that’s fine for you. some other people would also like to continue in their belief that nothing wrong is going on here, the men and women seem to like it, and role play between consenting adults is ok (and profitable apparently).
beleive it or not, there are women out there that like nothing better than to be humiliated by men.
As I said before:
I bet it’s just a couple of guys that got together with a couple of naked girls, some paintball guns, and shot some video.
Put up an “extreme” looking website selling the video, and price the “hunts” so high that nobody ever calls to book one.
Would you pay $10K to shoot a nekkid chick with a paintball gun??, No?? Well how about a video for $199.95?? Sure.
Sell a bunch of videos a la “Girls Gone WIld” and laugh all the way to the bank.
Just my $.02…I sure ain’t gonna fork over $10K.
$19.95 that is…
Oh, $19.95. Well OK then.
According to Snopes, people who have tried to contact Real Men Productions either found no way to do so or never heard anything back when they did.
Hmmm…
Anyone been keeping track of what Joey Skaggs has been up to recently?
If it is a Skaggs hoax, Fox News fell for it. Big news story this morning.
reminds me of a joke: A dumb guy was out hunting in the woods when he found a beautiful blond woman, totally naked. He said, “Hey baby, are you game?”
She says, “Sure, big guy.”
So he shot her.
When we were at lunch at Friday’s I could see MSNBC on one of the TV’s. they seemed to be giving this story the “breaking news” treatment; it was on the whole time we were there. I couldn’t hear anything, but it looked like they were interviewing someone from the company, and some woman who looked like she was probably arguing the “con” point of view.
This is certainly bizarre, but does it deserve the breaking news treatment? Isn’t this just free advertising for this company (Assuming they’re real).
Real or not, the OP’s outrage is apparent.
Assume for a moment it is real (which I doubt); why are the economic, social or sexual activities of other people, entered into on a voluntary basis, of any interest to anyone else?
