It is interesting that, when people discuss great blues-rock guitarists, SRV is always brought up as the “greatest.” And while I think SRV was very good, he couldn’t hold a candle to Roy Buchanan. That guy was incredible.
Speaking of Roys, here is another underappreciated guitarist: Roy Clark. When you think of Clark, the first thing that comes to mind is “banjo virtuoso.” But he was also a bad ass on guitar.
