Hi all. I’m struggling to recover some family vacation pics that another family member accidently deleted off the Canon PowerShot SD300. Using an apple computer, I’d love to know how to use all this software I’ve come across that promises to recover files off digital cameras. Problem is that although I am able to access the current pics on the camera through Iphoto, the actual storage space is not really accessable, and certainly not mounted through finder the way, say, my ipod is when I plug it in. The programs I’ve found all want to see a ‘volume’ before they scan for recoverable files.
So can anyone help me mount the SD-RAM or use any other strategy to recover these pictures?
