I am looking for a glue to use on my fake moustache for my halloween costume. I was thinking of Elmers or maybe that clear glue used for paper. Any suggestions?
The best thing to use is what the film and theater industry uses: spirit gum. You can probably get some from a local costume shop, or theater supply house. If you don’t need it immediately, and can’t find a lcoal source, you can undoubtedly find some on eBay.
Agreed. I’ve only heard of spirit gum for this purpose. Other adhesives may irritate or damage skin, and some might not hold well.
If you can’t find spirit gum try fake eyelash glue.
Double-sided toupee’ (NOT any other kind!) tape would also work. You can find it at beauty supply stores and wig shops.
