I challenge you to find a SINGLE ad hominem in my posts. And invective is a subjective term that you can apply to any post with which you disagree. Address what I said or not, but don’t attack me because you can’t address it.

What Lochdale said in his response to you is pretty much spot on. Street fighting is a totally different game than MA. It’s about being aware of your surroundings and not losing your head while taking/giving punishment and getting out of the situation as quick as possible. In Krav training, I’ve been routinely put in stressful situations (surprise attacks by one or more instructors) and had my ass handed to me over and over again until I learned how to control fear and take a few hits. None of the Krav “sparring” that I’ve seen has lasted longer than 15 seconds.

With that being said, I still wouldn’t want to a meet martial arts master in a dark alley. :smiley: Fighting is always a last resort…
