Years ago we rented a movie in which a half dozen or so graduate students gathered to investigate paranormal phenomena at an abandoned inner-city church. They came from every possible discipline…there were students of physics, math, linguistics, Romance languages, and so on. Some died, some got taken by the evil, some survived. You get the picture. It was a fairly low-budget, schlock-laden horror flick, but I remember it fondly.
