I’ve never seen the movie either, but “Do you know what happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else” looks pretty darn stupid written out. If I’d penned a clunker like that I’d probably be tempted to pin it on the actress too, but I don’t think it’s very fair.

An irritating comtemporary joke intruding into LOTR.
I highly doubt anyone else on the message board has seen this movie, because it was written/directed by a classmate of mine. It’s called Toxin. The whole movie was chock full of terrible, terrible dialogue that made me cringe, but the worst was this line:
Bad guy: The only tie stronger than that between a boyfriend and girlfriend is that of a parent and child.
Guh? Husband/wife, anyone?
