The original was very good and the effects worked for the time. I’d love to see an update if they could keep the story as good as the original.

The first version was essentially a Bogie-Bacall romcom, the second was set in England in the 70s. Time to do the story as it was written.

Should be remade as high camp (see what I did there?). The question is, would it be as funny as the unintentional humor the original film offers. In the right hands it could be a hit.
