Without reading the comments at this clip can you identify the movie where it was used?
No.
Thanks for playing. Here’s a toy.
Without looking…Snatch? or Ocean’s Eleven?…I’m getting a Brad Pitt vibe.
Excellent! Ocean’s Eleven it is.
You get to do the next one – if you like.
While you’re thinking see if you recognize this music (or a variation of it) from an Eastwood movie: one of my favorite Miles Davis things.
cool! It’s difficult to find one without the answer right in the title. So here’s one that probably has appeared in more than one film, but there’s one in particular I’m thinking of.
Interesting. I’m not sure. Sounds more like incidental music for a 70’s American crime film like Dirty Harry than any Morricone music. To me at least.
without even hearing the clip I’m going to say misty
Definitely on the right side of Eastwood with the Dirty Harry vibe, but this was not one of the DH movies as such.
BTW, I’m not feeling the Wagner vibe. I must not have seen that movie.
Not even close. Sorry. Hear the clip.
This one is tough to do. Click on the link, but then close your eyes. Listen, then hold your hand up to block the video and kill the link. Artist and movie?
“as such” The Rookie?
Nope. Big clue: bus!
The Gauntlet!
I must not have seen it. Will try to because that’s good stuff!
Yes! I read somewhere that
did a deliberate swipe of that Solea movement from Sketches of Spain
Some time ago we had a similar thread on movie music of note and somebody posted this one (please do what you have to not to see the title on the clip.) I had not seen the movie at that time, but HAD to after hearing this music.
Recognize it? The musicians?
Name the John Hughes movie and scene the first 36 seconds of this song was used in:
Didn’t have to hear it; I knew it was Tangerine Dream. I’m a fan–Sorcerer soundtrack is incredible stuff. “The Keep” was a decent book, strange movie. Same author (F. Paul Wilson) as “The Tomb.”
