Actually, there are two remakes: the tv movie The Poseidon Adventure, airing tonight (the one with Steve Guttenberg); and a theatrical movie, Posedion, to be released in 2006.
The tv movie sounds pretty cheesy, but the theatrical movie is being directed by Wolfgang Petersen, who has some really good movies in his resume, including Das Boot. So, it could actually be good.
Note that after correcting betenoir, I managed to misspell “Poseidon” in the same post.
Personally… I’ really excited about tonight’s tv movie…
I may actually watch it over the repeate of Supernatural… decisions… decisions.
