Movie or Tv memorabilia

Thomas Magnum’s Ferrari and Robin Masters’ estate to park it.

The robot from Metropolis.

The pinball machine from the cafe in Happy Days that Fonzi could always get free games from. (I collect pinball machines).

He did have a bad crash while testing a 917-10 in the early '70s, but died from a crash during practice for the Austrian Grand Prix in '75. I’m not exactly sure how much commonality there was between the Le Mans 917s and the versions Donohue raced in Can Am.

(And before you think I’m some master of racing trivia, I had to look most of that up on Wikipedia. And since it was mentioned in this thread, figured I might as well share it here.)

My wants are modest compared to others…

Does James Bond ever open his wallet and we get a glimpse of his license to kill? That’s what I’d want.*

And as a snowdome collector I’d definitely want the one showing the sled at the start of Citizen Kane [Hopefully they used a couple of stand-ins to film the breakage and left the original intact]
And does the Abbey in Downton Abbey count?

  • Just thinking - most drivers license photos make you look like a hired assassin, so would James Bond’s make him look more dangerous or benign?

TV: David Tennant’s TARDIS.
Movie: The original Willy Wonka’s purple coat.

In the “not too fancy” camp, I want a Neverending Story book.

In the “outlandishly expensive” camp, a full-scale X-Wing Fighter.

Thanks. I was able to look it up now, too. He was driving a March 751. From Wikipedia:

Getting back to the thread, as a young teenager and car fan, the 1976 movie, The Gumball Rally, was a favorite. I would love to have the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider that was driven by Raul Julia. From Sotheby’s:

The actual car from the movie, chassis # 14829, recently sold at auction for a cool $1.65M.

I’ll take it.

The 1982 Pontiac Trans Am that served as KITT on original-recipe Knight Rider w/David Hasselhoff.

If it’s cars we’re after, I’d take Sam Raimi’s Oldsmobile Delta 88…

Nice. I used to own one of those! Good memories…

I have one. Not an actual prop from the Star Trek set, but I bought a package containing VHS copies of The Trouble With Tribbles, the DS9 episode Trials and Tribble-ations, and a replica tribble.

I’d like Hugh O’Brian’s Buntline Special from The Life and Legend Wyatt Earp. And yes, I know the Buntline Special is part of the legend. It’s doubtful that Earp ever carried such a weapon.

He died driving a March Formula 1 car after championing Porsche’s Can Am effort in the 917. He had already retired from racing once due to the danger but he went back into it because he needed the money.

ETA: Which apparently people already noted.

Eddie Munster’s woof woof doll.
Yara’s clam shell e-reader from It Follows
Grace Kelly’s charm bracelet from Rear Window

The nunchakus Bruce Lee used in “Enter the Dragon”

The Mustang fastback from “Bullitt” (or the Challenger from “Vanishing Point”)

Star Trek TOS phaser (which they’re making pretty good replicas of these days)
