If you could have one piece of movie or TV memorabilia what would you want? For me its the Time Machine from the original movie. And from TV, I would love to have the portrait of Barnabas Collins from the classic Dark Shadows TV show.
A tricked-out DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future.
The Porsche 917 from Le Mans.
I’ll take the Ferrari from Le Mans, then.
The Tardis prop from Matt Smith’s era.
The Maltese Falcon, perhaps. Or the golden idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Or perhaps the Ark from the same movie.
The piece of sculpture that Alex brains the cat lady with in A Clockwork Orange.
From The Outer Limits: Robert Culp’s robotic appendage from “Demon With A Glass Hand”.
The jacket that April Ludgate wears in the opening credits of Parks and Recreation.
Some many good Sci-Fi props! Yes! I’ll add, the Robby-the-Robot from the movie Forbidden Planet, and the Batmobile from the '60s TV series Batman.
For something that’s just a stock item I’d go for a Rockford car or the Route 66 Vette. For something more unique I’d like the original Batmobile.
When I was a kid I always wanted the mini USS Enterprise from Star Trek TOS, in the episode Catspaw. That episode isn’t noteworthy except for that little toy. I always thought that would be cool.
But now I’ll take the Porsche 959 from the 2015 movie, Spectre!
Errol Flynn’s bow from “The Adventures of Robin Hood”
Nigel Tufnel’s amp- the one that goes to 11.
Jolly Jack Tar, the laughing sailor doll from “Sleuth”
An R2-D2 prop, from the original Star Wars.
A sandman’s Weapon from Logan’s Run.
The Golden Gun from, obviously, The Man With the Golden Gun.
The Gun With the Absurdly Long Barrel, from Batman.
Doctor Doom’s mask, from the Roger Corman version of The Fantastic Four.
The medal that Bela Lugosi wore on his neck in the Dracula movies.
The portrait of Gene Tierney from Laura.
The “Pink Panther” diamond. (Actually, I don’t want any of the movie props. I want a synthetic diamond or corundum, matching the specs described in the movies, with the panther laser-etched into the interior of the gem.)
I want the evil witch doctor doll that terrorized Karen Black.
A tribble
There are a lot of good ones listed here. The other day something reminded me of The Gods Must Be Crazy and I got to wondering what happened to the Evil Thing (a Coke bottle). It would be kinda cool to have the one from the actual movie, but I don’t know how you’d ever authenticate it, and it looks like they chucked it off a cliff.
Great car, but it was said to be a stone-faced bitch to drive. I read a great story about it; can’t remember who the driver was, but he said that when his 917 broke down (even though he was leading Le Mans at the time) it was the happiest day of his life.
Didn’t Mark Donohue die in a crash driving one?
If cars count, I would love the Aston Martin DB5 from Thunderball.
ETA: Or a spinner from Blade Runner.
