The same crew made another movie called Dark and Stormy Night that spoofs those old-timey locked-in-a-dark-spooky-house movies. The character names alone are worth the admission.
In the opening scene I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard. I was the only one in the theater who noticed that the kleenexes she kept using were real linen and embroidered with her initials.
People sit around me looked at me like I was crazy. Pure brilliance!

I strongly suggest watching Oscar if you like screwball comedies. I know that Stallone and comedy don’t seem to go together but when you add in a host of wonderful character actors including Kurtwood Smith, Don Ameche, Marisa Tomei, Tim Curry, Chazz Palminteri and a Kirk Douglas cameo all under the direction of John Landis - it’s gonna be good.
