Movie Title Needed

Trying to find a movie title for a friend at work. All the info he has is:

1. He saw it in the late 80’s/early 90’s

2. The main character was a kicker for the Green Bay Packers

3. His children were kidnapped and he had to miss a crucial field goal to get them back.

Not much to work on, but I have faith in the Doper Nation.
