Would “Five Feet Apart” count? Haven’t seen it, but I’ve heard it’s pretty good. It was about two teenagers with cystic fibrosis who fall in love, but they have to avoid close contact so they don’t share their germs.

NEVER CRY WOLF - Farley Mowat self-isolates with wolves. Hilarity ensue, before and after return to “civilization”.

Any space opera depicting long spaceflights with limited crews. Long sea voyages are similar. Downplay any same-sex stuff.

All those Big Brother and Survivor shows are about isolation, init? Same with MYSTERIOUS ISLAND.

ETA: Not so much what the movie is based on, but self-isolation is the premise, Blast From The Past.

Right at Your Door is about the aftermath of a dirty bomb, but fits this quoted criteria almost perfectly.

The first time I saw it my DVR cut off the last few minutes. Months later I found it again, this time adding extra time to my recording to be sure to get it all. I was shocked by the ending.

It’s a Disaster is about a group of people holed up in a house during the end of the world. Not really a long drawn out quarantine though. But it’s worth watching anyway.
