Nowhere near the top of these, but I thought both Robocop 2 and Lethal Weapon were pretty far up on the dumbness scale. Robocop 2 I don’t remember too much, except I remember constantly being taken aback by the increasing dumbness. Lethal weapon had that lovely scene towards the end where they let the good guy fist-fight the bad guy. Um, hello? There’s like 50 cops around! Jump him! What are you going to do if he kills the good guy?
Die Hard 4 was pretty painful too.
Transformers - why must we always stuff hoomans into everything? I wanna see big robots!
While the “Cocktail” prank was a horrible, horrible thing, there was a part of me that respected him for pulling it off. I mean, he SOLD it. If you’ve seen the movie, or part of it, you have to realize it took MASTERFUL acting - and lying - for him to get me to keep watching it every time I was ready to give up. Now that I think about it, I’ve gotten a lot of entertainment out of telling that story. Far more than I got from the movie.
No one has mentioned The Lost World: Jurassic Park yet? My brain tried to escape from my ears when the girl started doing flips on the uneven bars to get away from the raptors.
This was about Demi Moore and Bruce Willis in some sort of love triangle resulting in his death, but not quickly enough for my taste.
The reason I remember seeing it is because I took a friend from Hungary with only limited English. When I asked him what he thought, this was his comment:
“This man f*** this woman, woman kill this man… This not my problem.”
