Movies to watch on April 8th

Specifically, movies where eclipses figure into the plot.
I’ll start with Ladyhawke.

Do you mean the 8th?

Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court.

ETA: Just remembered, Little Shop of Horrors. He mentions it in the story of finding Audrey II.

Yeah. Just asked the Mods for a quick fix.
Never mind-fixed it myself.

How about tv episodes?

BTW, if you Google “eclipse”, something happens.

Delores Claiborne. One of the best Stephen King adaptations IMO.

Along with that, Gerald’s Game.

What is the eclipse tie-in?

It’s brief but memorable:

If we’re including tv shows, there’s the Modern Family ep (S9,Ep1) where they plan to watch an eclipse from a houseboat on a lake. It’s actually pretty funny even though the series had already started to lose steam.

King Solomon’s Mines (1937, among other versions) and Apocalypto (2006) both have convenient eclipses saving the heroes from execution.

Saw that. Cool beans.
