Recommended.
I’m still not convinced this movie makes an real sense. I’ve seen it twice. But it is pretty creepy and well done and one of the more interesting and genuine attempts at a proper scary movie from the late 70s and early 80s.
I’m running through the series this October, having only seen the first one.
Fun fact: Captain Phasma from the newest Star Wars movies was named after this movie since her shiny armor looked like a Phantasm ball.
Cowboys and Aliens. I dismissed this movie out of hand back when it came out, just based on the title. Turns out that the cast saved the day, and it was a fun watch.
I remember having a fun time watching that movie, and the next day pretty much forgetting all about it.

It really does not. But I’m still inexplicably fond of it, very much a childhood nostalgia thing 
. Angus Scrimm as the undertaker was an inspired bit of casting.
Also the director/writer also directed Bubba Ho-Tep, which makes only marginally more sense but is still a lot of fun.

Clint looking very old …good role. Engaging movie.
I like Lithgo better as Churchill but Oldman won and Oscar for this.

We watched this last night.
Though a romantic comedy with many laughs, the overall premiss is quite sad. The main character meets who she thinks is a regular, average guy who grows on her and she falls in love with him. He turns out to be a horrific pathological liar.
Throughout the film we were hoping that everything was just a coincidence and he was the man he claimed to be. No such luck and in the end she winds up alone and right back where she started.
There’s been a sequel The wrath of becky and a further sequel to that is in development.
I’ll probably pass.

Perhaps the most astonishing survival movie ever. True story …the book is terrific…..a story verging on unbelievable

Far better than the remakes late.
Spy Game 2001 Robert Redford, Brad Pitt
It wasn’t the buddy movie that I expected. The story is much darker as Redford works behind the scenes to save his protege.
The story is very slow paced but the suspenes builds . That’s common in Redford movies.
