Moving a Pachislo / Skill Stop Japanese Slot Machine

I have a Japanese ““skill stop”” slot machine. I am moving into a new apartment next month.

What is the best way to move the slot machine? I do not have the original box it came in, or any of the styrofoam that came with it either.

I am assuming, that I should probably take out all of the gaming tokens, and put them in a bag. That’s the easy part.

Can I transport my machine, with it lying on its back? If I were to transport it standing up, what should I do to insure it arrives safely? Should I lay it down portrait or landscape?

I can’t give a definitive answer, but I can say that we had one delivered to our office last year, and the box it came in had a warning on the top to keep the box upright (in the position it stands in). So I would say keep it upright, and avoid shaking it around too much.

Right, I was looking to see where I left the manual, such that it was.
I was thinking that some part of the machine could not be laid down.
