So, I have the 48 gallon tank, and I also have the choice of buying a 55 gallon square cheap from the people who had the 33 gallon. The 33 gal was their son’s, and he didn’t take it when he moved out, so they consolidated all their fish into a 90 gal tank, except for an Oscar, who is in the 55 gallon, but they expect to move him. Their 90 gal is very cool. They know their fish.
Anyway, I am not using the guy’s 48 gallon homemade stand; I’m getting one form Petco for $45 that is about a foot shorter.
I am wondering now what to do with my 20 gallon. I was going to sell it, but now I think maybe I could but Bettas in it. Has anyone ever tried keeping a male and female Betta together, or two females? what about a male and two females? will the breed (I don’t want them two). I’d like to think of at least of couple of Bettas out there that are not stuck in soup bowls.
