Which is a translation of Kuala Lumpur.
Now I have had stopovers there, on my way to Sabah or Sarawak. I had a short stay for a business meeting once. But am now going to work there for 6 months Mon-Fri and weekends off. ( for me that’s quite novel in itself!)
I know the superficial touristy things, Petronas Towers, Little India, Chinatown and such.
What are dopers’ experience here and do you have any suggestions for me? Don’t forget the weekend off, as am sure over the remainder of the year I will get a long weekend meaning I can travel a bit further afield.
Ramadan starts early this year, two days after I arrive doh! But I am familiar with being in moderate Islamic states during this time so I don’t see that as a potential damper.
