I would like to use the Thunderbird e-mail program but I have a few questions:
I use the Yahoo.com as my e-mail provider now, can I use Thunderbird and still use Yahoo as my e-mail provider? Will I have to get a new e-mailn address?

Yahoo no longer offers POP3 access with its free email accounts.
However, there is a freeware tool that allows you to access free Yahoo account via POP3, but I’ll be darned if I can find the link right now.
Gmail offers POP3 to some of its free accounts. However, you cannot be sure when, if ever, it will be offered to you.

Strangely, Yahoo! Mail UK does offer POP3 access, and it works fine with Thunderbird.
