Can some SDopers suggest some good websites for finding MP3 files? And, what is the cost per month? Any free sites which are worhtwhile?

MP3.com has a lot of free mp3’s. Most of them are from bands from independent or small labels, of course. But if you’re into less popular music, it’s great.

Emusic is a pretty good pay-to-use site. I think it costs $10 per month, but I’m not sure. It has mostly music from smaller labels and less famous bands too – that’s inevitable. If you want to hear top 40 music, there’s not much available. If you are into more esoteric stuff it’s great. I’d recommend checking it out with their free trial first and seeing if there is anything you’re interested in first.

There are others too, but I’m not familar with any of them. Most of them charge per month, I think.
