First off all, thanks again all for the great congrats and funny comments!
I have started making some calls, now that we are legally married, and have already lowered our car insurance monthly payments! Yeah!
I have also made a call regarding lowering our health insurance costs, and should be hearing back from them in the next day or two. They seemed to think this would indeed make a difference in the monthly rate there as well.
So - looks like we are already reaping one reward, taxes will be a huge reward come January, and following up with other things to see what immediate benefits we might be getting.
We newlyweds are all atwitter with the benefits so far!
Of course, now that we are an old married couple, we don’t gussy up anymore - only a matter of time before one or both of us is running around the house wearing a moo-moo and wearing curlers in our sparse hair.
