Mrs. L.A. is in the hospital

She’s a very private person, and would be appalled if she knew I posted this. So I’m not going to go into details. Suffice it to say, it has to be bad when a nurse asks you to call 9-1-1. I took her to the E.R. around 08:30. After about five hours, I took a break for lunch, a shower, and a change of clothes. Got back to the hospital a couple of hours later, and she’d been admitted. I stayed until nearly nine, when she suggested I go home. ‘It’s not like I’m going anywhere.’

:frowning:

Sure hope that whatever’s going on, it’s not serious, and she makes a speedy recovery.

Oh, gosh! I also hope it’s nothing serious and she’s better soon. Thinking of both of you.

I hope she’s in good hands. Don’t be afraid to question the doctors, though. You have to be proactive with health care professionals these days. Ask lots of questions, as they won’t necessarily just take care of you. I’m speaking as someone who went through this a few months ago.

Thinking of you both. Second the recommendation to ask a lot of questions. Take notes, and be proactive. I hope turns out well.

Hope it turns out to be something not very serious. And take care of yourself too.

Like everyone, I hope this is something that can be sorted out quickly.

Good advice, IME.

I hope whatever it is, it’s nothing serious and she’s back home soon.

Hang in there and fingers crossed for Mrs. LA

Johnny, know we’re sending best wishes and hoping for the best. Post when you can.

It’ll be early morning now in the US, so hoping that Missus L.A. is whingeing like mad and champing at the bit to get out of there…

All the best Johnny.

Hoping you get good news soon, and share it with us.

You’re one of my favorite posters, Johnny. My sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for your wife. You are in my thoughts.

All the best to both of you.

Sorry to hear this Johnny. I hope everything turns out okay.

Hope all turns out well.

Oh dear - really hope everything is OK and it’s not too serious!

Best of luck, Johnny.

I hope all is well and she comes home quickly!
