Mrs. L.A. is in the hospital

She just called, and she sounds a lot better.

That’s great! My best wishes to you both.

Yaay! I’d say give her hugs for us, but after a couple hundred hugs she might collapse from exhaustion. So how about just a couple big ones representing the group?

Just got back from the hospital. She looks better and sounds better. She was even laughing. She still has pain, but it seems to be lessening.

That’s good. I hope she’s back home quickly.

Here’s to the good getting better and better! My very best wishes to you and Mrs. L.A.

Good to hear! I hope she continues to improve, Johnny.

Much better today. Eating Jell-O, and broth. She may be released tomorrow afternoon.

Good News! - sending best wishes and keeping fingers crossed for you both.

Johnny, my friend, I just saw this. Sending best thoughts your way. Anything I could do for you from this distance away?

Ric

Thanks, Rico. I think I’ve got everything handled. Just waiting for the vet to call so I can pick Creamsicle up before I go to visit the Spousal Unit. (She was limping badly last night.)

When it rains, it pours! I hope both your ladies are feeling better and home soon with nothing having been seriously wrong with either of them.

Careful with that Jello! After my kidney surgery, years ago, I wanted to eat something the next day and I recieved yellow and green jello. I ate slowly, bite by bite. I seemed to be okay. A friend arrived bearing gifts, flowers and books from other friends. I smiled at him, opened my mouth to say hello. As my friend told others later I then procedded to give my very best Linda Blair impression. He dropped the stuff, grabbed a pan and helped me out. Now that’s friendship!:o:p

Hope she goes home soon!

Mrs. L.A. and I joke about green Jell-O, from seeing it on the ID channel being used to hide antifreeze by wives killing their husbands.

Tonight she had green Jell-O.

Oh that’s oogy!

Just saw this. Hope it all works out.

Good to see that your wife will be OK.

So glad things are going well. Let us know when you’re headed home, and there will be 4,000+ people in your front yard with flowers, cards, and… well, I guess brownies, cookies, and candy are out. Jell-o it is!

Your lawn will recover eventually.

He’s covering the lawn with mint, so no problem there!

Hope Mrs LA and Creamsicle are doing ok!

I just have to change out of my work clothes (shorts and T-shirt today – isn’t telecommuting wonderful?) and I’ll be off to pick up the Spousal Unit.

The vet gave Creamsicle a shot of long-lasting antibiotics (one shot, two weeks) and an anti-inflamatory. She was almost normal when I brought her home. No lifting her right-rear paw. Today she might be tender with it, but I have to squint to see it. I kept her inside yesterday afternoon and evening, and she and Tonka have been lounging on in chairs on the covered part of the deck all day today.
