Word 2007.

I would like to set my default word doc to draft mode. As it is, it comes up in web layout. I can’t find where the default can be changed.

MS help…. Isn’t.

How do I set my default doc to draft mode?

In Word Options, Advanced tab, General section (near the bottom), check the box for “Allow opening a document in Draft view”. Then make sure you have only one document open in Word, and change the view to Draft. Close the document, and next time you open Word, it should default the new doc to Draft.
