MSCSE: What to learn first?

So I am after this credential. I have access to all kinds of libraries that can give me the knowledge to take the tests. PROBLEM. There is not much counseling to go along with the courses. Where to begin?

So my question is: Where do I begin? What do I need to know, and what should I learn first as building blocks to continue.

If there are any admins out there I would LOVE to have your input.

Did you mean MCSE?

Either with a MCP in Windows XP or the MCDST. Then progress to MCSA, then MCSE.
