I went to the dentist today, and had a complete dental exam, for the first time in SIX years! I had to go get a check up because about a week and a half ago, I chipped a portion of a tooth adjacent to my only filling.
Anyways, it’s mostly good news for not having been to the dentist in 6 yrs! I have only one very small cavity on my left lower rear molar which will need to be filled. I need a thorough cleaning as well, and obviously need the chipped area filled. She said I have some mild gingivitis, but that should go away after a good cleaning. All of the work will only cost around $300.
IMHO, that’s GOOD news for having been exam-absent for so long. I had been worried, but now I am soooo happy! MSK is smiling BIG
It could have been a lot worse . You could have walked in and a Dentist who looked like Steve Martin except for black hair with a hog parked outside could have been waiting for you . :eek:
