Mundane Adventures In Medical Land

Tomorrow (actually today as it is 2:10 AM and I can’t sleep) I will have an adventurous day.

After taking the trash out for collection this morning I must get to see my Orthopedic Surgeon about my fractured clavicle (collar bone), then a follow-up with my General Surgeon (gall bladder removal, hernia repair, espouphical ulcers), my urologist and thy favorite doctor PCP (Primary Care) Mellissa up in Manistee - where once again blood will be sucked from one of my veins for testing. I’m a the star-child for “rolling veins”. I feel sorry for the nusrses who keep trying
All from 9am to 5pm. I am exhausted just thinking about it. Whew.

Then I get to come home and clean house.
Fun, Fun.
Hope you all have a great day…
I will probably end up going to have a beer…or two. And possibly a shot of whiskey.

By the end of the day, you will have more medical referreal slips than you have now. It is a self-escalating system. Two medical applintments become four, which become eight . . .

When you become sufficiently jaded, you will just cover it all with a single umbrella expression: Insurance fraud.

What happened? Did you have an accident or just an old body waiting to give out?

Sorry if I missed the thread you might have already posted in

Just a follow-up check-up. The only reason I went there were the cute nurses and the cheese burgers and fries from the room service menu. The “old body parts” of mine is well known around here.
Oh yes, I did have that beer and whiskey. Just to wash down all those new pills they gave me.
