I had watched this a few years ago and then forgot about it. Recently I discovered it again but had really hard time finding episodes from season 4. I’m on season 6 now and should easily be caught up in time for season 7.
I have to say that I love this show - it’s so quintessentially Canadian. It’s not only entertaining but often educational in the most palatable an unassuming way.
Anyway, I’m not sure what happens in season 6 yet but I’m hoping the years long tension between William and Julia is finally resolved as it seems it will be and that will bode well for season 7.

Where are you finding episodes? I’ve been waiting for the DVD, but…
It used to be on Netflix streaming (through season 4, I think) but it recently disappeared, about the same time that 3rd-tier cable channel Ovation started showing them in the U.S. For some reason Ovation has changed the title of the series to “The Artful Detective”. Saturday nights, 3 episodes in a row.
I don’t think I get Ovation, but it looks like Amazon Prime has it through Season 5 - so I can catch the episodes I missed. Thanks. It wouldn’t have occurred to me to check the Zap tv listings otherwise and those led me to Amazon.
Ah. Mostly disreputable sources I’m afraid, but it looks like Amazon has them. They’re a bit pricy if you don’t have Prime though - at least it seems that way. $2.99 per episode, and that’s with a subscription (whatever that means).
