No I am not seeking medical advice.
I’ve had a persistent occasional muscle twitch in the same place for several months now. It seems like it occurs nearly every day sometimes several times, I admit I’ve grown used to it and don’t always notice. It lasts for a few minutes to an hour or so usually.
It’s located in the thigh near the knee, right leg inwards from the front where a bundle of muscle attaches near the kneecap.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

IANAMD. Occasional muscle twitches could just be the effect of toned muscles. I have muscle twitches in my legs all the time, which I never noticed until someone asked me if the twitching bothered me. Do you ride a bike or do other exercises which would affect those muscles specifically, and do you possibly have other twitches which you have not yet noticed?

I had this in my right pectoral last week. It lasted several days. It was kind of annoying when I was trying to fall asleep.
But to answer your question, no I don’t know either.
