What is the name of the music (and the composer) in the beginning of the movie that plays when Kate is skating and then falls down? I can’t remember and it’s driving me crazy!
Thanks in advance,
Lorie

Is it listed as part of the soundtrack?
I don’t even remember what it sounds like, so I can’t take a guess beyond that.
We don’t have nearly enough threads devoted to The Cutting Edge trivia.
Sadly, I don’t know the answer off the top of my head. I’ll watch my DVD tonight if I get a chance and see if I recognize it.
After much googling, I figured it out. The composer is Offenbach and it’s Orpheus in the Underworld: Infernal Gallop (otherwise known as the can-can, apparently?). I don’t think it was on the soundtrack.
Thanks anyway!
Toe-pick!
“Yes, Doug can read!”
“I’ve been doing a little figure skating.” “Finger painting?”
“If it was 40 below and buttoning that button was the difference between a long healthy life and a cold agonizing death from hypothermia, I still wouldn’t give you the satisfaction.”
I wish somehow we could just go back and I could just be your daughter.
