My 2018 tax filing fit on a postcard.
(This is not my work. I stumbled across it on the internet and thought I’d share.)
Background: In an attempt to appease Congress and to keep it from again cutting their budget, the IRS butchered the traditional Form 1040 tax form and reduced it to the size of a postcard – an oversized, double sided postcard. And, oh yeah, it added 6 new schedules that may have to be filed in addition to the 1040.
Not to worry, tax companies like TurboTax have added additional fees to complete the new schedules.
