Here’s a question for you, ScottRP: do you believe that there might exist such a thing as hallucinations with a biological rather than religious explanation, i.e. which are not visions or voices from God or demons?
If you look at any point source and let your eyes go out of focus, it will appear as a circular blob (with a pattern of specks in it).
Also, some people who claim to have seen ‘orbs’ are probably just telling lies. How can you tell? Some people claim to have seen Bigfoot. There are people out there who claim to have seen ‘Roswell Rods’ with their naked eyes - despite the fact that the phenomenon is demonstrably a photographic artifact.

Here is the truth about psychotic disorders. Research merely “implies” that it is a brain disorder. This is no more than an educated guess. And was derived from the fact that most patients showed a chemical imbalance in the brain. This chemical imbalance is caused by drug abuse which is the number one cause of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders in the world today. Some drugs like methamphetamine and cocaine enable a person to experience the invisible spirit world. These drugs are sins that bring evil spirits into one’s life. If you speak to a satanic worshiper who summons evil spirits into their lives, they will tell you that this is true. If you hear of a paranoid drug user claiming that he or she is being followed by the FBI, they are merely being deceived by the devil. It has been known for thousands of years to have been the devils that have driven a person mad. And this is still true today.

No its not. Schizophrenia can manifest in people who have never used illegal drugs, including in young children. You’re saying that an eight year old has been secretly snorting meth or something?
Can you give a complete list of these sinful, evil spirit-summoning drugs? Surely, it would include alcohol. What about nicotine? Or caffeine?
I once experienced very vivid auditory hallucinations (followed by an almost complete loss of hearing in my right ear for a couple of weeks) after a prescription of amoxicillin to cure pneumonia. Is amoxicillin (and other antibiotics) diabolical?
I said most cases are drug related. Evil spirits can and do pass from one individual to another. A person with these spirits in their lives, dies. And the spirits go into the life of the child who they are familiar with. It is not complicated.
Not that I am aware of. Perhaps you should check the PDR. lol Seriously thou, you could probably look for psychotic symptoms under the side effects to discover the one’s with “diabolical” potential.
I agree. It sounds like you’re advocating a method of filtering them that you believe is better than thinking carefully about them?

In any case, how does one decide to ‘just believe’? Am I supposed to sit here making grunting and straining noises until I’ve successfully forced a belief into my mind? I think it’s more likely something will come out of me, than in.

This is a very personal question, and you should by no means feel obliged to answer it, but are those 35 years of being “lost” in your CV some Christian code for a history of drug abuse?
