I don’t think I can match the beautiful send-off that GirlBySea gave to Chief Scott, but I would also like to publicly wish my wonderful husband (a doper lurker) Godspeed and tell him that I will miss him terribly as he goes off to spend 4 months in Saudi Arabia at the behest of the Air Force.

Mine has been too far away since last July, but at least we have the telephone & email; sadly, I doubt you will even have that.
Luckily I have found that absence does make the heart grow stronger. I hope you find the same to be true for the two of you.

BTW…one of the people I went through basic training with ended up stationed in Saudi Arabia. He said that he was told that he’d love it over there because there was a woman behind every tree.
When he got there he looked around.
No trees.
