A couple of years ago my best fiend released Horror Anthology Movie Vol. 1. Last year he released a limited-edition Blu-Ray of the sequel, Creepers. The latter was 200 numbered copies. (I have #039.)

Yesterday he had a trivia quiz on Facebook for Creepers #199/200. The question was, ‘Who is considered the “father” of the modern detective story? Name one of his/her stories in the genre.’ Of course I knew the answer right away; but I didn’t post it because I already have the disc. He posted the quiz on the Creepers Facebook page and also the Horror Anthology Movies Facebook page. Maybe the 744 people who ‘like’ the former weren’t online that day. After a rather long time, there were no takers. Someone won the disc three minutes after the quiz was posted on the latter. Today he’s giving away Creepers #200/200. I wouldn’t mind having the Last of the Limited Edition, but it wouldn’t be fair since I already have a copy. And he’s giving away Horror Anthology Movie Vol. 1 on DVD. As I type this, there’s only three-quarters of an hour before he posts the quiz. (I’m not posting a link, so as not to run afoul of the ‘promoting products or websites’ rule. You can find it if you want, but I suspect it will be over quickly.)
Anyway, congratulations to my friend for selling out of his film! I hope he’s as successful with his next production, First Man On Mars.
