I’m getting married this weekend! It’s our 6 year anniversary, and we’re doing the traditional wedding thing. The day after our wedding we’ll be flying to Hawaii for three weeks. Anyone have any tips-- wedding, marriage, travel, packing, etc? Anyone know the answer to this-- My MIL booked the tickets using my married name. Only I haven’t changed my name yet, and won’t before we leave, so my picture ID has my maiden name. Will a marriage certificate from the church (not a marriage license) be enough to get me on the flight? I would hate to miss my honeymoon.
I would call the airline to be sure about the tickets. They are being VERY cautious at this time. You might want to check with the travel agent and see if they can get the name changed without the change fee.
