My birthday cake!

Went to Costco this A.M. and was tempted by the cheesecakes, as I was a couple of weeks ago. I know I shouldn’t indulge and my doctor would heartily agree, but when I saw the one w/ “Happy Birthday” written on it rationalization won out as my birthday is this coming sunday.
Happy Birthday to me.
I already had a sliver, rationalization knows no end

A few years back, my mother baked a birthday cake for her mother-in-law, who had started down the slippery slope towards senility.

She and Dad arrived for their visit a couple days before Grandma’s birthday. They proceeded to eat cake.

On Grandma’s birthday, they arranged Grandma and the Cake so that pictures could be taken which did not reveal that only half a cake still existed.

They then shared the cake with Grandma’s other son.

Everyone was happy. Grandma enjoyed her favorite homemade cake one last time, and had no leftovers to grow mold in the fridge once her company left. Mom saw her cake enjoyed by several people. Pictures of happy people eating cake were available.

Most sincere wishes for many happy returns of the day, Mr. Cane

I can rationalize cheesecake ten ways to Tuesday

Hey, happy birthday!

Costco cheesecake is the best.

Happy birthday! I had a birthday on Saturday, but sadly there was no cake. Eat a slice for me!

Thanks to all. Funny story Eureka.
