My cat is a toothpaste junkie

Just a warning: toothpaste is actually poisonous:

There is a poison control number on the back of most tubes, so be careful with letting your kitty eat it.

Sort of related, my cat Fred’s a broom-chewer.

My kitty, Porkchop, is sexually attracted to furniture polish - or, at least, that’s how it appears. We break out the Pledge, and Porkchop follows us around the house, ears perked up and that distinctive look of kitty interest on her face. As soon as we actually polish a surface, she promptly gets up on it and begins wallowing on it, rubbing all over it, rolling in it, and making those little half-purr/half-meow kitty sounds.

If we leave the dust cloth lying around, she’ll literally wax her entire coat with it. She’ll rub around in it until it’s actually a little embarrassing to watch.

Catnip? She hates catnip. But lord, give her Pledge, and she’s a happy (and shiny) kitty.

At least one of my cats has a fondness for coffee grounds.
I spilled some on the kitchen floor one day and instead of cleaning it up right away (it was about a tablespoon’s worth) I started the brewer first.
When I turned around to clean it up, one of the cats was rolling in it as if it were catnip.

I’ve got one that likes to eat cobwebs.

It’s odd but at least it cuts down on the housework.

Our cat Midnight, too. She comes up to us to demand that we give it to her (not beg - cats don’t beg.) She’ll come up to yu while you’re washing dishes, or something, and meow until you pay attention. Then she’ll alk away and see if you follow her. It’s like Lassie trying to tell the family that Timmy’s in the well, or something. She’ll lead you to the bathroom and wait until you get the hint.

you gotta be careful with coffee and animals. pretty sure it’s poison along the lines of chocolate, nuts, grapes, nicotene, etc.
